PHIVOLCS — Taal 24-hour observation

The world-famous "volcano within a lake within a volcano" - a tiny, restless cone on Volcano Island in Taal Lake. The Daang Kastila trail climbs dusty slopes to the rim of the steaming main crater lake; access closes whenever PHIVOLCS raises the alert.
