Image compressor & resizer

Compress and resize JPG, PNG and WebP images in your browser. Keep aspect ratio, choose quality and download single images or a batch ZIP. Free, with no uploads.

Resize and export your images

Up to 10 files, 20 MB total; each image up to 24 megapixels. Multiple results download together as a ZIP.

Aspect ratio is preserved. Smaller images are never enlarged.

Files and filenames stay on your device. This tool uses no uploads, accounts, paid credits or browser storage. Clear the tool or close this tab when finished; saved downloads remain on your device.

What to expect

  • JPG, PNG and WebP input only. HEIC, SVG, GIF and RAW are not included. Export uses the formats your browser supports.
  • Images fit within your maximum dimensions while preserving aspect ratio. The tool never enlarges smaller images. JPEG uses a white background for transparency; PNG and WebP can retain transparency.
  • Quality affects JPEG and WebP. PNG uses lossless encoding. A re-encoded file can be larger than its original; the result shows the actual size.
  • Animation becomes a still image. Original EXIF/GPS metadata is not copied. Color and orientation can vary between viewers; review the preview and keep your originals.

How to compress and resize images

  1. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP images. A batch can contain up to 10 files and 20 MB in total.
  2. Set maximum width and height, choose the output format, and adjust JPEG or WebP quality. Smaller images are not enlarged.
  3. Select Resize and export images. Review the preview, pixel dimensions and actual file size, then download the image or batch ZIP.

Common questions

Can I compress an image to a specific KB size?

There is no exact file-size target. Reduce the maximum dimensions or JPEG/WebP quality, export, and check the actual size shown. Re-encoding can make some files larger than the originals.

Can I compress a PNG without losing quality?

PNG output uses lossless encoding, but resizing changes the image dimensions. A PNG is not guaranteed to become smaller. JPEG and WebP offer a quality control for reducing file size.

Will resizing stretch my image or remove transparency?

The tool preserves aspect ratio and fits the image within your maximum dimensions. PNG and WebP can retain transparency; JPEG replaces transparent areas with white. Check the preview before using the result.

Are photos or location metadata uploaded?

No. Processing stays on your device, and original EXIF/GPS metadata is not copied into the exported image. Animation becomes a still image. HEIC, SVG, GIF and RAW inputs are not included.
