Mobile Dating

Mobile Dating — Privacy policy

An adults-only dating app with reviewed profiles, likes and private conversations.

Privacy policySupportAccount & data deletion

Effective and last updated: 8 October 2026.

Who provides this app

Mobile Dating is provided by Timastra LLC, 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #38687, Casper, WY 82609, US. Privacy questions can be sent to support@timastra.com.

This policy explains the app’s data use, including optional features and differences between supported platforms.

Closed test

This policy covers the Mobile Dating Android test builds distributed through Google Play testing tracks, including version 0.1.0. The app is for adults aged 18 or older. During testing, new dating profiles are opened by invitation and the test service shows fictional profiles labelled as test data. Advertising, analytics, purchases and device location access are not part of this build. Features that change what information is handled require updated disclosures before they are enabled.

Account and sign-in

You sign in with a Timastra sign-in account on a hosted page in your browser, using email or a connected Google account. The app never sees your password. The dating service receives a stable account identifier from that sign-in and does not store your email address. Your Timastra sign-in account is separate from your dating profile and is managed and deleted separately.

Profile information you provide

To create a dating profile you provide a display name, date of birth, gender, an area you choose from a list, who you would like to meet and photos. You may add answers to prompts, a short bio, interests, languages, work, education, height and pronouns. Other eligible members see your display name, age, chosen area, profile text, interests and approved photos. Your date of birth, gender, preferences and sign-in identifier are not shown to other members. The app does not read your device's location; your area is the one you select.

Likes, messages and reports

Likes, the optional note sent with a like, messages and reactions are stored so they can be delivered to the member you sent them to. Message text and like notes are encrypted in storage; conversations are not end-to-end encrypted. Automated rules check messages, notes and profile text for requests for money, early requests to move the conversation off the app and threats, and show the recipient a caution; no third party reads your messages. When you report a member, your report, the recent conversation with that member, the messages you cite and copies of the reported profile and photos are kept in encrypted form for review by Timastra staff. The member you report is not told who reported them.

Review, moderation and age

Profile text and every photo are reviewed by a person before other members can see them. Staff assigned to a report can read its evidence, and each such access is recorded. Content removal, limits, a suspension or a ban are shown to you in the app with the reason and a way to appeal. You must be 18 or older. Your date of birth is stored in encrypted form, and an adult check must be passed before you can see or contact other members. Where an identity verification provider is used for that check, you complete it on the provider's page and Timastra keeps the result, not your identity document.

Notifications, permissions and device storage

The app requests notification permission only if you turn notifications on. Push notifications, where enabled, carry a fixed line with no message text, name or photo, and are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging using a device token that is stored in encrypted form and removed when you sign out. Photos are chosen through the Android photo picker; the app requests no camera, contacts, microphone or location permission. Sign-in tokens, drafts and recent conversations are kept in encrypted app storage on your device, and viewed photos in the app's private cache; both are cleared when you sign out. Screenshots of the app are blocked and Android backup is disabled.

Sharing

Timastra does not sell your information or use it for advertising. Information is shared only with the members you interact with as described above and with service providers that operate the service on Timastra's behalf: hosting, the Timastra sign-in service, Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications where enabled, and an identity verification provider where an adult check uses one.

Retention and deletion

Use Your space > Delete dating profile in the app and confirm; the app then signs you out. Deletion starts immediately: your profile text, photos, date of birth, preferences, device tokens and sessions are erased or replaced, and the text of messages you sent is removed. An account record with your sign-in identifier and the deletion date is kept, and that sign-in cannot be used to create another dating profile. Records of blocks, matches and consent are kept without profile content, and notes you sent with likes remain stored in encrypted form. Reports made by or about you, their evidence and related photos are kept for up to 12 months after the case is closed. Deleting your dating profile does not delete your Timastra sign-in account. Use Your space > Request my data first if you want a copy of your profile, preferences and sent messages. If you cannot sign in, email support@timastra.com from the address of your sign-in account.

View deletion instructions and request help.

Support messages and your privacy choices

If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, troubleshoot and handle privacy requests. Email and hosting providers process these communications and ordinary connection information. We retain correspondence as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations; you may request deletion of correspondence.

You may request access, correction, export or deletion of personal information we hold, or raise an objection or withdraw consent where applicable. Local-only records must be managed on your device because we do not hold a remote copy. Optional device permissions can be revoked in system settings. Service providers may process data outside your country under their own policies; security also depends on your device and any destinations you choose for exports.

Contact and policy changes

Email support@timastra.com for Mobile Dating privacy questions. Include the app name and enough non-sensitive information to identify your request. Never send passwords, authentication codes, recovery keys or private health, financial or photo backups. We may need to verify ownership before releasing or deleting hosted records.

Material changes to the app's data practices will be reflected in this policy with an updated date and in the app where appropriate. Visiting this page is also covered by our website privacy policy.
