Eastern Visayas' highest summit, hidden in the cloud forests above Lake Danao and Ormoc. A steep, root-grabbing climb through primeval forest to a tiny summit window over the Camotes Sea. Known locally as Mt. Aminduen.

Ormoc's official site lists Alto Peak but provides no current hiking-permit workflow. Confirm the departure point, opening, registration, guide arrangements, camping and fees with the city and the responsible local office before travel.
