What to expect from the conversion

This tool rebuilds your document as an A4 PDF. It is best for letters, reports and other straightforward documents.

  • Basic text, headings, bold and italic styles, lists, simple tables, and embedded PNG/JPEG images are supported.
  • Fonts are replaced with an included font. Original page sizes, spacing and page breaks may change; some writing systems or symbols may not render correctly.
  • Headers, footers, page numbers, text boxes, charts, equations, comments, tracked-change history and advanced layouts may be omitted or simplified. Merged table cells are simplified.
  • For a document that must look exactly like Word, export the PDF from Word or LibreOffice and compare it with the original.

Private by design

Does my file leave this device?

No. The site delivers the conversion code; your browser reads the document and creates the download locally. This tool sends neither the document nor its filename to a conversion server and does not save them in browser storage. Clear the document or close the tab when finished. Files you download remain on your device.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, subscription, credits or payment. File and complexity limits keep processing manageable on your device; they are not a paid upgrade.

What if a file fails?

Use a current browser, try a smaller file, or split a long document. Protected or damaged files are unsupported. Keep the original; this tool creates a separate copy.
