Who provides this app
Weightwise is provided under the Timastra brand. Timastra LLC is the planned legal entity; its formation and the transfer of app operations to it are pending. This policy will be updated when that transition is complete. Privacy questions can be sent to support@timastra.com.
This policy covers the app and the features described below. Platform-specific features apply only where supported.
Health and meal records
Weight, goals, meals, photos, custom foods, sleep, exercise, habits, imported health summaries and personalized daily-plan feedback stay on your device in local storage. Food recognition, nutrition-label reading and barcode matching run on the device. Photos and recognition results are not uploaded for recognition. Readings and suggestions can be wrong and must be reviewed; they are not medical or allergen advice.
Optional health access and permissions
With permission, Apple Health or Health Connect provides read-only weight, steps, active energy, sleep and exercise information. Imported records stay locally. Revoke access at any time to stop future imports; remove existing imported copies separately. Camera/photo access supports meal logging and notification permission supports reminders. Health data is not used for advertising.
Purchases and SDK diagnostics
RevenueCat and Apple or Google process purchases and entitlements, including purchase information and technical identifiers; the app does not receive full card details. There is no separate product-engagement analytics, advertising or dedicated crash-reporting SDK. Google ML Kit can transmit app/device information, installation identifiers, usage/performance metrics and errors to Google even though recognition images and results stay on-device.
Security, backups and age
The optional PIN/biometric access lock does not encrypt the local SQLite database. Standard exports and backups are readable files; an optional password-protected backup uses AES-256-GCM. Android automatic backup and documented device-transfer mechanisms exclude app data; older copies are unaffected and iOS system backups depend on your device settings. Weightwise is not intended for children.
Retention and deletion
Edit individual entries or use Reset All Data to delete local records and managed meal photos. Revoke health permissions to stop future reads; this does not delete the original platform health records. Remove manual backups, exported files and older system backups separately. Subscription, payment and SDK records are subject to RevenueCat, Apple and Google's retention and legal obligations. Uninstalling does not cancel subscriptions.

Support messages and your privacy choices
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, troubleshoot and handle privacy requests. Email and hosting providers process these communications and ordinary connection information. We retain correspondence as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations; you may request deletion of correspondence.
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of personal information we hold, or raise an objection or withdraw consent where applicable. Local-only records must be managed on your device because we do not hold a remote copy. Optional device permissions can be revoked in system settings. Service providers may process data outside your country under their own policies; security also depends on your device and any destinations you choose for exports.
Contact and policy changes
Email support@timastra.com for Weightwise privacy questions. Include the app name and enough non-sensitive information to identify your request. Never send passwords, authentication codes, recovery keys or private health, financial or photo backups. We may need to verify ownership before releasing or deleting hosted records.
Material changes to the app's data practices will be reflected in this policy with an updated date and in the app where appropriate. Visiting this page is also covered by our website privacy policy.
