Your vault
Password Vault is a local-first encrypted vault. You retain ownership of everything you store. Your master password and recovery material are never sent to Timastra and cannot be recovered by support. Keep an encrypted backup and your recovery key somewhere safe; clearing app storage or removing the app deletes the local vault.
Free trial and Premium
New installations get a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked and no payment details. After the trial, adding and editing entries, creating passkeys, attachments, importing from other password managers and receiving shared entries need Premium: a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. Opening the vault, reading, copying and autofilling entries, signing in with stored passkeys, export, encrypted backups, restore and every recovery method stay free and are never withheld, including after a subscription ends. Installations that already held a vault before Premium was introduced keep every feature free.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Google Play or the App Store handles payment and shows the price and applicable purchase terms before you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play or Apple account subscription settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Use Restore purchases in the app, signed in to the same store account, to recover access on a new device. Refunds follow the store's process and your legal rights.
Privacy and acceptable use
The Password Vault privacy policy describes the data the app handles, including purchase status. Do not use the app to violate others' rights or applicable law. Support never needs your vault, master password, recovery key, shares or store receipt tokens.
No warranty of recovery
The app has not been independently audited. Loss of both the master password and all recovery material makes a vault unrecoverable by design. These terms do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
The published date changes when these terms change. Existing purchases keep the store terms they were bought under. Contact support@timastra.com with questions.
