Timastra Deskrun: Terms
Updated
Read or download the October 4, 2026 legal documents. The dated archive preserves this release; your order or acceptance record identifies the documents that apply to you.
The merchant of record named in your checkout and receipt sells the software subscription or license and handles payment, sales tax and approved refunds. For a Paddle purchase, Paddle's buyer terms apply. If your checkout uses Creem or Dodo Payments, that provider's buyer terms apply instead. Timastra LLC supplies and supports the software. See payment providers and buyer terms for the applicable links.
Read the Deskrun End User License Agreement (version 1.2, effective September 28, 2026). This is the licence agreement supplied with the desktop software.
Scope
Timastra Deskrun is provided by Timastra LLC. These terms describe its permitted use. The desktop software is governed by its licence and the order you accept. The Deskrun End User License Agreement governs the distributed desktop app. The hosted workspace provisions of the customer service agreement do not govern files kept on your computers. The website terms cover timastra.com.
Permitted use
QA engineers and developers who automate, check and report on Windows desktop applications, whether they watch a run or leave it to CI. Drive Windows desktop applications through their user interface, verify the results, and report them to people and CI systems.
Responsible use and limitations
Deskrun clicks and types in real applications. Review and test every flow before running it, especially unattended, start against test copies of your applications, and automate only systems you are authorized to use. Keep screenshots and logs that may contain personal information under your organization's control.
Only provide records and connect systems you are authorized to use. Do not use the service to access another organization's information without permission.
Your licence and order
The licence terms and accepted order set the desktop software rights, limits, billing and refund terms. An order may expressly incorporate the customer service agreement for a hosted purchase account, licence delivery or billing administration. That incorporation does not replace the desktop licence or make local files hosted workspace data. Timastra handles purchase and support records under the website and account privacy policy; the workspace data processing agreement does not apply to your local desktop files. A separately agreed order or agreement takes precedence where it expressly says so.
Billing and closure
Deskrun is licensed by yearly subscription: a Studio seat for each named person who authors or records flows, and a runner for each machine or container that runs flows unattended through the CLI, QA runner or SDK. Seat and runner counts are contractual, not tied to a device. Each renewal issues a new signed licence file from your account page. Buy online at deskrun.timastra.com, or contact us for an evaluation build or a written offer.
For purchases made through Paddle checkout, the Paddle entity named in your checkout and receipt is the merchant of record and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase. See who sells the software.
The offline desktop app does not require a hosted account. Buying a subscription separately creates a hosted Deskrun purchase account for licences and billing. To request deletion of those hosted records, email support@timastra.com from your billing email with your organization and order reference; never send your private account link. Cancel renewal through Manage billing on your Deskrun account page or Paddle customer portal. Deleting local files or requesting data deletion does not cancel a subscription. Flows, screenshots, run logs and reports stay in the folders you choose, and Timastra cannot remotely erase them. Flow Studio can delete a run's evidence, and stored credentials can be removed with the deskrun cred command, Flow Studio's Credentials dialog or Windows Credential Manager. Uninstalling Deskrun does not necessarily remove flows, run evidence or credentials.
